The key design features of the dryer include:

• A universal, modular design ranging from 4 cars to 48 cars capacity.
• The ability to design the drying cycles exactly with the characteristics of the various pieces.
• A hybrid design operating either a fast conventional humidity control drying cycle or in R-02 mode depending on the shape, style and weight of the ware.
• Drying cycles range from: 7 hours – Tanks 10 hours – Washbasins, Pedestals 12 hours – WC’s 16 hour – 1Pc WC’s
• A unique door design ensures fast and efficient loading and air-tight seal.
• High thermal efficiencies of around 900 to 1,000 kcals per kg of water removed.

Many of the key design features of the dryer are similar to the ware dryers:

• A universal, modular design which will accept any number of loaded pallets and stillages loaded by a fork-lift truck.
• Dryers are designed to allow multiple stacking of stillages in rows with aisles between the air circulation.
• Easy to operate, overhead sliding doors assist fast loading.
• Typical cycles range from 48 hours up to a maximum of 72 hours depending on the weight and characteristics of the moulds.
• High thermal efficiencies of around 1000 to 1200 kcals per kg of water removed. The Mould Dryer is an excellent user of available waste heat from the tunnel kilns.
