CDS ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR THE CASTING SHOP
The systems are designed to:
- Provide a two stage environmental control system for spaglass casting and the de-watering process.
- Provide space heating, ventilation, humidity control and dust control for the casting shop.
- Control the temperature and relative humidity in the entire casting shop at pre-determined set-points, both day and night over the 24 hour period for 365 days a year with reference to the prevailing climactic conditions
- Thoroughly dry the plaster moulds after the daily casting operation ready for the following days casting.
- Part dry and condition any pieces remaining in the casting shop overnight ready for intensive drying in the Ware Dryers.
- The system is applicable to all types of casting systems including battery, machine, capillary/ spaglass and manual casting which use either plaster or synthetic moulds.
